Annual Picnic on the Lawn

We are off to the start of a new school year!

Please bring your families to our first JDA activity of the year.

When: Thursday, October 8th at 5:15pm
Where: The lawn between the dental school and the chapel (aka The Quad)
What: burritos, drinks, desserts, raffles, fellowshipping

Each class's JDA rep will check you into the event to make sure we have all of your updated contact information. Makse sure you check in so you can get your meal ticket and raffle ticket.

Meal Service for a Dental Family

D3 Mike and Tamara Gilman welcomed triplets into the world this last weekend. Tamara is now recovering at home while the babies remain in the hospital.

Triplets On the Way!

We would like to invite you to join in the excitement!

A dental student and his wife are expecting TRIPLETS! She will go into labor any day now and there are a few last minute needs- DIAPERS! We are doing a diaper drive, if you would like to participate all you have to do is bring a package of diapers(any size)/ wipes to the Student Affairs Office, 5502.

Anyone who donates will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to receive a 1 hour massage courtesy of the Junior Dental Auxiliary.

If you are interested in helping out further, they are in need of these items as well, new or used! Swing
High Chair
Bumbo Seat
Excer- saucer
Playmat
Any books or toys in great condition
Sippy cups, spoons, bowls, etc.
Baby Clothes( any size)

"A Day in the Life" JDA Activity

Saturday, May 2nd in the Lab at the Dental School

Our spouses will be teaching us how to do a cavity prep!

Please also bring your favorite dessert and drop it off in the student lounge, where we will end the night.

*No children please, get your babysitter lined up now! More specifics (including time) will be sent in an Evite to your personal email address. We hope to see everyone there! Remember, these events are for all engaged and married student couples of the dental school.

Thank you to the Goodacre's for hosting the Annual JDA Newlywed Game. It was a wonderful evening and we all learned a lot about eachother! We had wonderful sponsors for the prizes, including: The Mission Inn, Santa Anita Race Track, The International Day Spa, and Starbucks.

We were thrilled with the large number of attendees and hope to see you all at our upcoming event. Details forthcoming this week.
